BRENDAN VACATION

YOU’RE FREE TO POSTPONE YOUR VACATION TO IRELAND AND SCOTLAND

Peace of Mind Travel Plan

Owing to the evolving COVID-19 situation and government travel advisories and restrictions, Brendan Vacations is temporarily suspending operations in Ireland and Scotland for all vacations departing from March 13, 2020 until April 30, 2020.

All guests currently booked during this temporary suspension may change their travel dates or destination. We can assist you with your new date or destination for any time in 2020 or 2021, with a full credit of all monies paid for the land portion of the trip redeemable against your revised journey with Brendan or another TTC brand (Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold, Costsaver, Uniworld and U by Uniworld) to any destination. If travel insurance was declined, you will be responsible for any change fees charged by the airline.* 

For guests with existing bookings departing after May 1, 2020, or any new bookings being made, we are temporarily offering a fee waiver on the land portion of the trip until 30 days prior to departure should guests wish to change their dates or travel to a different destination. Airlines may have different policies and penalty charges, which are the guest’s responsibility.**

Guests currently travelling have the option to continue their travels or return home early and receive a pro-rata travel credit for the unused land portion of their trip.***

The wellbeing of our guests remains our priority. We also want to ensure that despite the current changing travel landscape, we give our guests the opportunity to fulfill their travel dreams.

CONTIKI

Latest update March 19, 2020 9.30AM GMT:

All Contiki trips due to depart on or before April 30, 2020 have now been suspended globally.

As of March 16, 2020 this now also applies to Contiki trips in USA, Canada and Latin America.

Currently trips departing from May 1, 2020 onwards are still planned to run as scheduled and we continue to monitor the advice from WHO and global government bodies carefully to ensure we are acting responsibly and in accordance with these guidelines.

COVID-19 update

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect nations and people all over the world, and in light of the latest WHO guidance, we’ve reached the decision to suspend all Contiki trips around the world due to depart on or before April 30, 2020.

This decision hasn’t been taken lightly, but our first priority is and always will be the wellbeing of our travellers.

We’ll be reaching out to affected travellers personally to help them rebook, free of charge on to a new trip in any destination for travel any time during 2020 or 2021, with a full credit of all monies paid redeemable against your revised trip with Contiki. *

Travellers currently travelling on trips in progress with Contiki have the option to continue their travels (where possible to do so) or return home early and receive a pro-rata travel credit for the unused land portion of their trip.***

For travellers with existing bookings departing from 1 May and more than 30 days from today for other destinations, or any new bookings being made, we have temporarily suspended the cancellation charges until 30 days prior to departure should travellers wish to change their dates or travel to a different destination.**

All guests currently booked on a guided vacation during this temporary suspension are eligible to either:

  • Change their travel dates or destination to any trip in 2020 or 2021, without penalty on the land portion of their trip. Any savings applied to the original booking will be transferred to the new trip selected.**

  • Elect for a future travel credit in the full amount paid (without penalty on the land portion) for the suspended vacation package (land only or land/air) redeemable against a new booking for travel to any destination departing before December 31, 2021.**
